Fort Simpson to Get One New MACA Position

The first 18 (out of 29) new jobs created through decentralization of government out of Yellowknife have been announced.  Hay River got the most positions, followed by Inuvik.

Meaghan Wohlberg of the Northern Journal reported, “Five of those positions are with the department of Municipal and Community Affairs (MACA) to put assistant regional superintendents in Inuvik, Norman Wells, Behchoko, Fort Simpson and Fort Smith.”
