To Frack or Not To Frack

Fracking.  Mention fracking and people either don’t know what it is, or they immediately have a negative response.  The reason?  A fellow by the name of Josh Fox made a film called Gasland.  It won awards, was aired on HBO, and it showed dramatic scenes of tap water going up in flames and fracking was blamed.

Josh Fox has been under attack lately for his false and misleading information in the movie.  The people of Dimrock, where the film took place, are upset with the false information and they are speaking out!  They say their water is fine, and their area is not a fracking wasteland.

Enter a fellow by the name of Phelim McAleer.  He is a world renowned investigative journalist from Ireland.  He looked into these claims and has made a movie also.  This one is called FrackNation.  He explores fracking and finds a different view than that of Gasland.  He also has a growing list of video clips on his FrackNation YouTube channel showing Josh Fox caught in various false statements during media interviews.
